West Palm Beach is home for Craft Master Custom Pools. Our team is based here, and we have been designing and building custom pools for West Palm Beach homeowners since 1994, from waterfront homes along Flagler Drive to established in-town neighborhoods and newer communities west of the city.
One local team handles it all: 3D design, engineering, permitting, construction, start-up, and the service that keeps your pool running for years.

Building a pool in West Palm Beach: what to know
City limits or Palm Beach County
A West Palm Beach mailing address does not always mean the City of West Palm Beach. Homes inside city limits are permitted through the city’s Development Services department, while many neighborhoods to the west share the mailing address but sit in unincorporated Palm Beach County or a neighboring village. We confirm your jurisdiction up front and prepare the engineering and permit package for the right office.
Historic districts
West Palm Beach has several designated historic districts. In those neighborhoods, a new pool and its surrounding hardscape may need a Certificate of Appropriateness from the city’s Historic Preservation Board before a building permit can be issued. We design pools that respect the character of these homes and prepare the drawings the review requires.
Waterfront lots
Along the Intracoastal and the city’s canals, groundwater, seawalls, and grade changes shape how a pool is engineered and built. We plan excavation, dewatering, and deck elevations around your site from the start.
Pool safety barriers
Florida’s Residential Swimming Pool Safety Act requires every new residential pool to include at least one approved safety feature, such as a barrier with self-closing, self-latching gates, an approved safety cover, or alarms on doors that open to the pool. We build the safety plan into your design so final inspection goes smoothly.
