Building a pool in Royal Palm Beach: what to know
Village of Royal Palm Beach permits
Royal Palm Beach is an incorporated village, so pool permits and inspections run through the Village of Royal Palm Beach. Our Klays Court project passed its Village final inspection and the permit was closed. We handle the application, engineering, and every inspection.
HOA and community approvals
Many Royal Palm Beach neighborhoods have an HOA that reviews pools, decks, and fences. We prepare the drawings and selections they need and plan the schedule around approval.
Shade and comfort on an open lot
Many western-community backyards get full sun. On Klays Court we set two umbrella sleeves into the deck and used marble pavers, which stay cooler underfoot. We plan shade, deck material, and heating together so the pool is comfortable year-round.
Pool safety requirements
Florida’s Residential Swimming Pool Safety Act (Chapter 515, Florida Statutes) requires every new residential pool to have at least one approved safety feature, such as a compliant barrier, an approved safety cover, or exit alarms on doors and windows that open to the pool. We plan the safety features with your layout and have them inspected before final.
